The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, wrote on his account via the “X” platform the following:
“Aside from the traditional narrative that has become tiresome about the brutal Israeli aggression, which neither feeds anyone nor quenches anyone’s thirst, we ask the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior about the outcome of the investigations that should have been completed regarding the incident of rocket fire from Lebanon on March 22nd. What was the result of these investigations? And who is the party responsible for launching those rockets?”
Geagea added: “In any case, it is unacceptable in any form to expose the residents of the south and the residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut to what they are currently experiencing. The Lebanese army and other security agencies must be strict and decisive in putting an end to these violations and events, which have cost Lebanon and the Lebanese people dearly, and have provided Israel with additional excuses for its ongoing airstrikes on Lebanon.”

“Mis à part la narration traditionnelle qui est devenue ennuyeuse concernant l’agression israélienne brutale, qui ne nourrit personne et ne satisfait personne, nous demandons au ministère de la Défense et au ministère de l’Intérieur quel a été le résultat des enquêtes qui devraient avoir été terminées concernant l’incident du tir de roquettes depuis le Liban le 22 mars. Quel a été le résultat de ces enquêtes ? Et qui est le responsable du lancement de ces roquettes ?”
Geagea a ajouté : “Dans tous les cas, il est inacceptable sous aucune forme d’exposer les habitants du sud et ceux des banlieues sud de Beyrouth à ce qu’ils subissent actuellement. L’armée libanaise et les autres agences de sécurité doivent être strictes et décisives pour mettre fin à ces violations et événements, qui ont coûté cher au Liban et aux Libanais, et ont fourni à Israël des excuses supplémentaires pour ses frappes aériennes continues sur le Liban.”
